As you all already knew, wordpress has launched their newest version 2.6, and they encourage wordpress user to upgrade to their newest version, to ensure the stability and bug fixes. For self hosted worpdress blog, like me, upgrading to newest version is not quite an easy job, especially if your ftp connection is blocked (which currently happened to me :D now). So I’ve do some search in google and found this plugins “Wordpress Automatic Upgrade” developed by Keith Dsouza. This plugins really makes life easier to upgrade wordpress platform. In several steps you’ve been able to do backup your database, deactivate your current active plugins, update database tables, reactivate your plugins, and finishing upgrade to newest, finest and fabulous semantic platform wordpress ;p.
